From humble beginnings


Photo: The Chans came from humble beginnings,a 100 years ago, my ancestors came to Borneo and worked with the soil, chopping down trees and planting rubber trees and pepper vines. Today, we have moved beyond that.

  4. very interesting to learn how people began the countries and places we live in today. Now we don't seem very humble at all. But, there are still many who live in humbleness in one way or another.

  7. to listen to the humble stories of origin is a very nice experience. it makes me wonder how people of long ago survived simply with meager provisions.
