Two families leave China 100 years ago, This is a journal recording their passage, their so-journ in Borneo and then on to Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, England and beyond. A fascinating account of how time and place have changed the members.

From humble beginnings
The Chans and the Kongs came from humble beginnings,a 100
years ago, my ancestors came to Borneo and worked with the soil,
chopping down trees and planting rubber trees and pepper vines. Today,
we have moved beyond that.
very interesting to learn how people began the countries and places we live in today. Now we don't seem very humble at all. But, there are still many who live in humbleness in one way or another.
I like the shot and a great idea for the theme.

Humble beginnings can make you appreciate the small things. That is something to be proud of!
ReplyDeleteto listen to the humble stories of origin is a very nice experience. it makes me wonder how people of long ago survived simply with meager provisions.
