Two families leave China 100 years ago, This is a journal recording their passage, their so-journ in Borneo and then on to Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, England and beyond. A fascinating account of how time and place have changed the members.

75 years of refugees in New Zealand. 3
The Consul-General of the People's Republic of China in Auckland Mr. Niu Qingbao spoke of the Chinese in New Zealand and all over the world. I gave him a copy of my "From China to Borneo to Beyond. "
I am very honoured he called me compatriot and he was delighted I said there were very few of Nius, which is Cattle/cow. He even joked that a good place for him was India, where they don't slaughter cattle. Photo: NZ Chinese Post
