Updating the family news.

In 1970, just before Charles went to New Zealand, we went to Art Friend with Ah Kung to take this photo. That was the last time Ah Kung saw Charles. He died in 1976. Mum died in 1988 in Australia, Dad in 2006 in Kuching.

I wanted to  replicate this photo, and Grace remembers that she had a biscuit in her mouth.

Photo: and another one

I am updating this post. Yesterday, I found out from my friend Joanne on Facebook that her friend was on facebook. Patricia's family belongs to the same dialect group the Quang Ning Hakka group of Mum.

The Dad was a head man of Grandpa Ah Kung's region. Our families go back to our Grandparents.

I went to Methodist school and never got to know the younger girls as they went to St Elizabeth School. We went to St Mary Church and we knew them as the daughters of Kong Chung Chew. They do know Margaret as Margaret went to St Elizabeth's school.
